Born and raised in Wellington, D F Mamea worked for The Man for a decade before he threw it all in and did the South
Seas Film & Television production course.
Although skilled with VCRs and computers from his time with The Man,
such skills meant nothing when it came to operating a camera or edit
suite. He concentrated on screenwriting.
He has written feature scripts, television pilots and the odd article,
some of which can be found on this site. He has also directed a feature film, and produced a couple of short films.
He lives in Auckland. Go on - email
him.

DeborahK is a very close friend of Mr Mamea's wife. Art
deco collector, knitter extraordinaire and ice-cool combat pistolero -
she is, to put it mildly, a woman of many talents. She very kindly set
up - and supports - this site despite her multitudinous disciplines
and commitments.
dfmamea.com is , tweaked with Smultron, and hosted by EziKiwi.
