FEATURES

Home Security (2007; working title; commissioned)
When the blackmail video of a powerful security contractor falls into the hands of a down-and-out film director, the fate of a country's civil rights is in the hands of a man on the brink of suicide.
Script development by D F Mamea, based on an idea by David Blyth.

Hooked (2007; commissioned)
One woman's journey of discovery through sex, lust, power and death.
Based on a true story.
Script development by D F Mamea for ILA Films.

Amatu (2005; in limbo with Headstrong)
Previously A Japanese Werewolf in Auckland - with an early title like that, what more can I say? Later drafts - evinced by the new title - turned it into more of an indigenous horror film.
Screenplay by D F Mamea, based on a story by Ignacio Cervio, D F Mamea and
Glenn Elliott.

Professional (2003; spec)
A thriller about a man whose past catches up with him in more ways than he expected. A loose sequel to Amateur - I wanted to see where the characters would be ten or fifteen years down the track. I'm sentimental like that.

Pandemonium (2003; commissioned)
A psycho-sexual erotic thriller. My first paid gig straight after South Seas. It made the Headstrong short-list in 2005.
Screenplay by D F Mamea, based on a story by David Blyth.

Amateur (2002; spec)
An action thriller in which an action-film junkie has to step up - and be a hero.

A look at psychiatrists' loves, lives and work with a Sopranos twist. Created with Amarbir Singh (1nite, 2004) and Glenn Elliott (Wayne Anderson: Singer of Songs, 2006). Developed to pilot script and first season storyline stage.

SHORTS

Samaritan
(2004)
The Bible parable is given a distinct Samoan (and Catholic) spin.
